Jeffrey A. Fillers is the CEO of The Computer Place, Inc., as well as a partner in Watermark Forensic Services & Litigation Support LLC. Mr. Fillers is a fully certified, trained systems engineer with over 12 years of experience. A Greeneville, Tennessee native, he has IT experience in a wide scope of industries and disciplines. Mr. Fillers is responsible for conducting computer forensic investigations and electronic discovery requests for legal and corporate clients, using proprietary methodologies and cutting edge forensic tools.

Prior to joining Watermark, Mr. Fillers provided consulting and expert witness services to law firms and corporate clients with The Computer Place, LLC. in Tennessee. During his forensic computing career he has worked on many different case types including Mobile, GPS, and DOD security. Due to his data recovery background he is particularly interested in cases where the evidence is complex and hidden deep within undocumented system structures. He has 12 years experience as a Computer Engineer and Consultant.

Mr. Fillers holds several certifications, along with three college degrees in the technology field. He also attends current training and seminars to stay up to date and be on the cutting edge of technology.

In addition to his roles at The Computer Place and Watermark, Mr. Fillers is involved with the local technology team in East Tennessee to assist local schools with the upcoming curriculum for the technology courses. He is actively involved in his community, participating in various boards and committees for the youth.


Scott Schaffer

Scott A. Schaffer is the Chief Technologist at Blade Technologies, Inc. and the Founder and Principal Investigator for Watermark Forensic Services & Litigation Support LLC. Mr. Schaffer is responsible for establishing and directing the strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for all internal information systems, as well as client’s information systems. Mr. Schaffer is an experienced information systems management professional and provides innovative information systems solutions for his clients and team. His areas of expertise include: network infrastructure, network management, security auditing, eDiscovery, forensic investigations, litigation support, and expert witness services. Mr. Schaffer’s experiences include the development of courses, textbooks, and interactive training software for Preparing for Windows 95 and Windows 95 Administration curriculums as well as authoring, coordinating and delivering technical training for Novell and Microsoft networking technologies. Scott has also served a network administrator of several Novell NetWare wide area networks. In September of 2004, Mr. Schaffer joined Blade Technologies, Inc. as Chief Technical Officer where he leverages his vast systems expertise and knowledge of the small and medium business market to assist organizations throughout the region. He is a frequent speaker and contributor to several media outlets including KPLR-TV, KTVI-TV and KTRS-AM radio as well as serving as a monthly columnist of the St. Louis PC Journal, The Family Network, and Small Business Television (http://www.itsyourbiz.com/).
